Enter Into Supply Contract of Bridge Scraper Reclaimer By NHI Under Fangda Group
On July 10th, 2020, NHI signed a contract with Xuzhou Zhongmei Hitech International Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xuzhou Zhongmei") on the procurement of Stacker and Recliamer Equipment for the Formosa Philippines MPGC project. The contract is amounting to more than RMB 70 million. The scope of supply of the contract includes two slewing cantilever stackers, two bridge scraper reclaimers and two portal scraper reclaimers respectively. The span of bridge and portal scraper reclaimer is 65 meters, which is a breakthrough in NHI's previous performance experience. The 65 meters span is by far the larger in the world for bridge scraper reclaimer. It represents the advanced international level of such equipment.

Major Projects Come In a Continuous Stream
In the past nearly one year, NHI has been facing unprecedented design difficulties and continue to optimize and adjust the proposal from being familiar with various foreign standards of the project that are different from previous domestic projects, to satisfying various demanding requirements of the owners on the technical proposal. Finally, NHI won the owner's approval with the perfect and impeccable bidding technical proposal, defeated internationally renowned German companies, and completely broke the monopoly position of German companies in the market. This is another classic case for NHI after restructuring and upgrading of centralized technology advantage to seize the technological commanding height of the Stacker/Reclaimer market.
On April 30, 2019, NHI successfully completed judicial reform and mixed ownership reform. Liaoning Fangda Group has legally become the largest shareholder. The NHI company has become a mixed-ownership company jointly owned by Fangda Group and ordinary financial creditors. The heavy historical burden and debt problems of the past have been completely resolved through reforms, and NHI has entered a new era of development.
With the continuous release of restruction effectiveness, the gorgeous turned NHI pressed the "fast forward" button on the journey of exploring domestic and foreign markets with a brand new look, which draw much attention from the market.
In the year of restructuring, NHI successively respectively signed the direct export contract for design, manufacture and supply of main equipment contract for 600,000 TPA grate kiln pellet plant with Mahavir in India, and design, manufacture and supply of main equipment of 0.6MTPA pellet plant for Ferrum Contruction LLP in Kazakhstan. The two large pellet projects covered rotary kiln, ring cooling equipment and others. It greatly boosted the confidence of the NHI to exploit market and laid a solid foundation for the formation of a good situation where the overseas and domestic markets keep abreast of each other.
At the end of 2019, after half a year of tracking and business negotiations, the general contracting project of sintering unit for integrated in industry park and decrement for upgrading of Hebei Huaxin Special Steel Co., Ltd. was finalized. NHI therefore seized the award of purchase order amounting to RMB two hundred million. The project covered 360 square meters of sintering machine and all public auxiliary systems. It is NHI’s the first general contracting project of sintering unit, and it has become a breakthrough for NHI to fully enter into the high-end complete market in metallurgical industry.

By focusing on the epidemic prevention and controlling the production and operation at the same time, the epidemic situation since the beginning of the year of 2020 has not affected the morale of NHI’s employees. The front-line marketing staff took the initiative, and adopted "Cloud office" methods such as Internet and WeChat to conduct information communication, technical exchange and business negotiation with users, constantly contributed to the successful signing of each contract.
In early March of 2020, the EPC contract for Port Pakistan Qasim Expansion From Jetty to Terminal Project amounting to 30 million US dollars were officially signed. The changes after the NHI restruction have been highly recognized by customers after experiencing from the poor performance of the project first phase before the company reorganization to the back trust of the project second phase after the company reorganization.
On this March 27, NHI successfully signed the turnkey contract with Gansu Huajian New Materials Co., LTD for the project of annual output of 5 million tons of high-quality aggregate, and the total contract amount in the first quarter of the year exceeded 1 billion yuan. More encouragingly, the project order quality was also improving steadily.
Keeping up with the market and user-centered, NHI speeds up product technology upgrading and new product development. The first T12 active-type multifunctional crawler carry-scraper was independently designed and developed by NHI in China, which is applied in national priority projects, which can complete the construction operations such as shoveling, transportation, bulldozing and cleaning-up at one time, breaking the monopoly of European and American countries. The TBM market technology leading position was further established by the technological transformation and upgrading of the two earth-pressure balanced TBMs with a diameter of 6.48 meters for the south extension line of Shenyang Metro Line 2. A number of newly developed products, such as the new HLS-415 sintering ring cooler and 1000t /h sand and gravel aggregate production line, have become the important support for NHI to create new economic growth point with great social and economic benefits.
